We are one of the largest dock construction facilities in the Midlands and on Lake Murray in South Carolina. With over 35 years experience in the inland-marine construction industry, we are more than qualified to handle all of your dock building needs on Lake Murray. We offer a wide variety of options capturing the most economical means to accomplish whatever waterfront task you may have.
Norman Agnew - Owner / President
​
Norman is the 2nd generation owner of Agnew Lake Service. He was born and raised in the Lake Murray area and graduated from Chapin HS. As soon as age allowed he was certified to SCUBA dive, likewise he received his Master Captain's license at age 19. He has literally grown up with the company that he is lucky enough to run today. Norman is married to Courtney and they have one son, Grady.
Nathan Chapman- Sales Manager x104
Nathan has been with Agnew Lake Service since July 2015. He has 24 years of experience in sales and sales management; including construction sales and construction product sales. Nathan and his wife, Sharon have been avid boaters for over 30 years and reside on Lake Murray in Chapin, SC. He brags that he was an Agnew customer long before he was an employee. Do it the right way- Do it the Agnew way!
Louise Ormsby - Office Manager x101

Louise has been with Agnew Lake Service since September 2004. She was born and raised in Texas and graduated from Texas A&M University. After
working 4 years for the US Air Force in Florida, her family relocated to the Ballentine area. They lived on their boat for 8 months while building their house. Louise is married to Rob and they have two daughters, Haleigh and Lainey.
Steven Shirley - Construction Manager x103

Steven has been with Agnew Lake Service since April 2010. He was born in Kentucky and moved to South Carolina in the late 80's. He was hired here as a crew member on a barge, then moved into the position of captain with a crew and barge. He was then promoted to his management position. Steven is married to Melody and their two children are grown.
Tina Van Buskirk - Secretary/Treasurer x102

Tina has been with Agnew Lake Service since the beginning. She was born in Wyoming and moved to South Carolina in the early 80's. Her mom and stepdad started this business out of their home when she was in elementary school. After graduating from College of Charleston, she returned to the Chapin area. Tina is married to Wyatt and has two sons, Braden and Jake.
